Tom Brandon is an Emmy Award–winning international director, actor, vocalist, and creative artist. He recently directed the U.S. National Tour of the Olivier-nominated musical The Choir of Man and will direct multiple productions worldwide in 2026.
He is also Creative Director of the new folk trio What the Folk, continuing his commitment to developing contemporary folk and Irish music for international audiences, with a particular passion for music in the Irish language.
Tom recently completed a North American tour with The Shamrocks (formerly The Shamrock Tenors). He has since stepped back from the group to focus on new creative ventures.
Alongside his theatre work, Tom has extensive experience in the cruise industry as a production vocalist, guest entertainer, vocal director, and lead install director. He currently serves as a Vocal Director for Celebrity Cruises, coaching and preparing singers in Miami before leading them onboard to launch new productions and supporting them through successful six-month contracts at sea. He also works as a Lead Install Director for Norwegian Cruise Line.
Tom holds a Postgraduate Degree in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music and a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance. His career includes three U.S. National Tours, two sell-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House, and the original West-End cast of The Choir of Man.
Based between Tarragona, Spain, and Rostrevor in the North of Ireland, Tom works internationally while remaining deeply connected to his Irish roots. He continues to develop his work as a director and creative leader across theatre and music.
